Every so often, I’ll collect the suggestions and will also update the list of our previous themes.
What makes a good weekly theme?
Well, you tell me!
As you can see from the list below, we’ve had a variety of them, from pretty easy (green, favorite) to more difficult (reflections, unworldly).
Generally, I’ve tried to pick themes that could be interpreted in at least two different ways (eg, “reflection” could be both a shot of a mountain reflecting off a still pond, or a 360º viewpoint where you could engage in some personal reflection) to make it easier for everyone to participate.
I’ve also steered away from themes that are already covered by specific topical photo spaces (all those hashtags ones). Beyond that, I’ve just tried to select themes could garner a slew of travel photos each week.
Themes can be re-used with time.
